Derek Gazis
Derek Gazis has served as a statistician at Target RWE since 2018. He holds a B.A. in statistics and computer science from Columbia University and an M.S. in biostatistics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. While a student at UNC, Derek worked at the Collaborative Studies Coordinating Center, providing statistical programming support for the Hispanic Community Health Study / Study of Latinos (HCHS/SOL), a multi-center epidemiologic study in Hispanic/Latino populations designed to assess the prevalence of cardiovascular and other chronic diseases, their protective and harmful factors, changes in health over time, and the role of acculturation in the development of disease.
